Betting For Justice 2014

Miami Poker Society presents the 3rd Annual “Betting For Justice” charity poker tournament to benefit Legal Services of Greater Miami.


LSGMI is a non-for-profit that provides legal services to those in need and is entrenched in helping the Miami-Dade community – their website is


Our tournament will be held on Sunday, November 2nd, at 12:00 pm at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Casino Poker Room.


This will be a $10,000 Guarantee prize pool (subject to entries).


Buy in is $150 for 7,500 units.  We have two optional add-ons – an initial for $20 for 2,500 chips and an optional at the first break for $50 for 5,000 chips.


This year we are doing a focus on South Florida’s finest poker professionals; amongst our hosts thus far are Anthony Ruberto, Nigel Murray, Michael Ortiz, Michael Tait, Juan Mubarak, Zoltan Czinkota, Bobby Leff, and South Florida’s poker ambassador “Big” Dave Lemmon of Ante Up magazine and the Poker Action Line.


There are two trophies up for grabs for our tournament – one for the overall winner and one for the pro that lasts longest.
